We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or Services that we offer. Section 6 - State of New Jersey Exotic Permit
Sin LLC “geckos.com” is a licensed exotic reptile pet shop in the state of New Jersey. In accordance with state law we issue a STATE OF NEW JERSEY EXOTIC or NONGAME WILDLIFE SALES RECEIPT for New Jersey customers, or on request.
This is a temporary permit valid for 20 days after the sale.
You must apply for a regular permit before this permit expires.
A Wildlife Sales Receipt must be completed for all wildlife sold to individuals by licensed pet shops and animal dealers pursuant to N.J.S.A 23:4-63:4 and N.J.A.C. 7:25-4.1 et seq.
Information concerning the species sold and the buyer of each specimen must be completed at the time of sale as indicated herein. Three copies are to be made of each sale. The originals (white copies) will be sent to the Division of Fish and Wildlife by January 31 - as part of the animal license renewal report. The pink copy goes to the buyer for use in applying for a possession permit. The yellow copy is to be retained by the pet shop. Certain species may be possessed without a permit from the Division pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:225-4.4. A list will be found therein. All other wildlife may be possessed only with permission from the Director of the Division of Fish and Wildlife.

A permit from the NJ Div. of Fish & Wildlife is required pursuant to N.J.S.A. 23:2A-5 to possess exotic reptiles in New Jersey.
Buyer is responsible for following local laws pertaining to the legality of keeping exotic reptiles in their residence.
Section 7 - Due Payment
Once a commitment to purchase an animal has been received, full payment is required within three days (72 hours) unless we agree to a payment plan, or an alternative written arrangement.
Section 8 - Courtesy Hold
At our discretion, we will place a gecko on a three day (72 hour) courtesy hold with a non-refundable down payment. All down payments and/or deposits are considered non-refundable unless expressed in writing as otherwise. If the prospective buyer does not send the remaining payment within three days (72 hours) of a written request to purchase the gecko, it will be relisted and the buyer forfeits (loses) the deposit. We consider no animal “sold” until full payment has been accepted and received.
Section 9 - Shipping Hold
We hold animals until daytime and overnight shipping temperatures are within forty (40) to eighty five (85) degrees Fahrenheit.
Section 10 - Breeding and Reproduction during the Hold Period
If we are holding an animal (or animals) in our care for any reason, including, but not limited to an ongoing payment plan or because weather is not within the acceptable range for shipping, we maintain the right to claim any eggs laid during the hold period. This qualifies even if the gecko(s) have/has been paid for in full. Prices paid are for the geckos listed for sale only and do not include offspring or eggs.
Section 11 - Payment Plan
Plan Terms & Conditions
We offer payment plans as a courtesy to our customers, with flexible terms of 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months to complete payment after placing a 20% non-refundable down payment. All of our payment plans are 0% interest
Plan Down Payment
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to hold any gecko. This deposit is applied toward the total purchase price and secures the animal exclusively for the buyer.
Plan Payment Schedule
Remaining balances may be paid off in 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months, depending on the agreed plan at time of purchase.Payments may be made in installments at the buyer’s discretion, provided the full balance is received within the agreed time frame.No interest will be charged on any payment plan.
Plan Non-Payment or Missed Deadline
If the buyer fails to complete payment within the agreed time frame, all payments made (including the deposit) are forfeited, and the gecko will be relisted for sale.
No credits, transfers, or substitutions will be offered in such cases.
Plan Refunds & Cancellations
All deposits and installment payments are non-refundable.
If the buyer changes their mind, or is otherwise unable to complete the plan, payments already made will not be returned.
Plan Shipping
Animals will not be shipped until the payment plan has been paid in full.
Shipping arrangements must be scheduled within a reasonable time after payoff, weather permitting.
Plan Default & Forfeiture
Failure to maintain communication or provide payment in good faith may be treated as a default.
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to terminate the payment plan if we feel the buyer is being unreasonable over a prolonged period in their availability to complete payments or arrange safe delivery.
⚠️ Important Note:
By entering into a payment plan, the buyer agrees to these terms and acknowledges that the 20% down payment and any subsequent payments are non-refundable. All payment plans are 0% interest.
Section 12 - Live Arrival Guarantee
Excluding any delays on behalf of the shipping carrier or unforeseen circumstances by the buyer/receiver, we are happy to guarantee live arrival for each animal that we sell if the animal is delivered on first attempt and on-time by its carrier service and we are notified in writing (e.g., text message, email, etc.) within half an hour (30 minutes) of the animal being delivered of it being received and its condition.
Section 13 - Health Guarantee
We will provide a two day (48 hours) health guarantee on any animal if the animal is delivered on first attempt by its carrier service and we are notified in writing (e.g., text message, email, etc.) within half an hour (30 minutes) of the animal being delivered of it being received and its condition. (We must be notified in writing within two days (48 hours) of your receipt of the gecko of the health concern.) This period begins once the package is delivered by the shipping carrier and is only valid if the animal was received as expected [i.e., no shipping delays and gecko was delivered on first delivery attempt by carrier or picked up within one hour (60 minutes) of arrival at the FedEx hub and buyer notifies us via email, text message, or phone call (and voicemail message if call is not answered) that the animal has been received]. This guarantee does not cover damage or injuries incurred once the box has been delivered including, but not limited to: dehydration, burns, hypothermia, drowning, choking, or from an accident. This guarantee does not cover tail loss. We do not offer a health guarantee for animals picked-up at the Reptile Expo. We believe the buyer has sufficient time and attention to properly inspect the animal prior to purchase at a Reptile Expo and there are too many factors that can negatively effect the animal after it leaves our hands at the Reptile Expo.
Section 14 - Gender / UV Analysis
The gender/sex of a juvenile (i.e., non-adult) gecko is not guaranteed. (Generally less than forty (40) grams.)
We discovered upon magnification that femoral pores illuminated under 365nm ultraviolet light glow neon yellow.
Identification Guide
Animals with definitive pores that are confirmed male will be labeled as "Male" (♂).
Male Example:
Animals with slightly visible pores will be labeled as "Possible Pores" (~).
Possible Pores Example:
Animals with no pores that are confirmed female will be labeled as "Female" (♀).

Section 15 - Color
Color is not guaranteed upon arrival. Geckos can change colors, at times dramatically, throughout their life. We do our best to provide an accurate, visual representation when posting our geckos for sale. Please note, though, that these pictures represent their coloration at one distinct point in time (that is, the time at which the picture is taken). If more pictures are needed for you to feel comfortable purchasing the gecko of your choice, please let us know and we will try out best to comply. However, please note that pictures take time to process and another buyer may jump ahead of you and purchase the animal before additional photos can be taken, uploaded, organized, cropped, and sent.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.
